Karachi: At least three more people were died after consuming poisonous wine in Chenesar Goth area of Karachi, taking death toll to 15 in three days.
Police said on Thursday, all the victims were Muslims and residents of Liaquat Ashraf Colony and Hindupara area of Mehmoodabad.
Six friends had died in the same area after consuming prohibited liquor on Tuesday while more than a dozen fell unconscious.
According to hospital sources, victims of the poisonous liquor include Mohammad Mansha, Mohammad Zubair, Shan, Mohammad Shafiq, Saeed, Babu, Abdul Qadir, Shahrukh, Saman Masih, Mohammad Aslam Razzak Lasi, Umair, Aslam Siddiqui, Babu Khairi and three others.
The number of the deaths has risen to 15 in just three days.
