Kabul: Three US-led NATO soldiers have been killed in an attack in eastern Afghanistan, says International Security Assistance Force.
The ISAF service members died in an attack on Friday, the US-led Western coalition stated without giving any further details, AFP reported.
According to the officials figure released by icasualties.org the death toll for coalition military personnel to 428 in 2011.
Hundreds of civilians have also been killed in US-led airstrikes and ground operations in various parts of Afghanistan over the past few months, with Afghans growing increasingly outraged over the seemingly endless number of deadly assaults.
