Karachi: Pakistan Rangers Sindh continued its search operation on Wednesday in different parts of Karachi that started since midnight, and held more than 85 suspects.
At least 17 suspects have been arrested in Khamisoo Goath area of New Karachi. Huge cache of illicit weapons and other contraband items were also recovered from their custody.
The paramilitary force launched search operation in Old Vegetable Market, Hasn Square, Korangi and other areas early Morning.
Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wasan says, some terrorists might have escaped due to delay in the operation but they would be held after probing those who have been held during the operation.
He said that 11 terrorists had been arrested over last two days. Wasan said, indiscriminate action will have to be taken irrespective of affiliation of miscreants to restore peace in the metropolis .
The minister was speaking to media after attending passing out parade of police commandos at Razzqabad Training Centre.
