Islamabad: Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wasan has said that there is no need to deploy army in Karachi to maintain law and order.
Talking to media at the Islamabad airport, where he came to have a meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari regarding Karachi law and order, Wasan said, “all the political parties in the city have weapons and they use them”.
He said,” we are keeping a vigill eye on city’s situation and have arrested some criminals belonging to political parties in connection with the on going wave of violence”.
The minister said that worsening situation of the city was not new instead it was an old issue.
