Karachi: Karachi Police Chief Saud Mirza lambasted its department’s offices over the worst law and order situation in the metropolis.
At least 17 people including an ex-MNA of Pakistan People’s Party, Khawaja Karim Dad, were killed in the financial hub of Pakistan within last 24 hours have left several questions behind.
Presiding over an meeting with Karachi DIGs on Wednesday, Capital City Police Officer, Saud Mirza, expressed serious concerns over the performance of police department, saying killers were still at large despite the police department had been provided list of the killers.
He said people were killing on daily basis but police was performing like a silent spectator. He warned police officers that enough is enough, now everyone would be sent to home over bad performance.
The CCPO said that daily-base meeting were useless. He said people complain that police did not register FIRs in street crimes.
