Ciudad Juarez: Mexican authorities have launched an operation against human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
More than 1,000 people were apprehended by law enforcement agencies in raids in Ciudad Juarez. The raids began on Friday and so far over a 1000 people have been arrested.
According to the Mexican police they managed to rescue 20 underage women. The raids they said were conducted in Dozens of bars and hotels.
Ciudad Juarez, bordering US is one of the most criminal infested areas in Mexico.
