Lahore: Former bowler for the Pakistan Cricket team Aaqib Javed said ICC’s new rule to use two cricket balls will affect bowlers’ performance.
The former Pakistan bowler said the rule would particularly hit Pakistani fast bowlers hard.Talking at the National Cricket Academy’s training camp; Aaqib expressed satisfaction that the camp found three bowlers who could bowl at the pace of 140 kilometers per hour. He said the camp would help promote talent.
Sarfraz Nawaz, the inventor of the ‘Reverse Swing’, is coaching the fast bowlers and we are hopeful the bowlers’ performance would improve.
He added usage of 2-balls in One Dayers would limit reverse swing magic. Pakistan doesn’t lack bowling talent and fast bowlers always played their role in the victories.
