Kabul: All the Taliban militant who stormed a five-star hotel in Afghanistan’s capital have been killed after five hours operation.
According to Afghan government spokesperson, all the Taliban militants who stormed Kabul’s Inter Continental Hotel have been killed. Two of them were killed by security forces while four blew themselves up.
The government official confirmed the death of six people who seemed Afghan national.

Taliban stormed a five-star hotel in Afghanistan’s capital Kabul, leaving 10 people dead as one of the Taliban’s suicide bombers blew himself up inside the hotel, Afghan media reported.
Afghan Police chief Mohammd Zahir confirmed that Taliban militants ambushed Inter Continental Hotel in posh area of Kabul. But he did not confirm any casualty in the attack.
He said fighting with Taliban militants was underway as militants were still inside the hotel. He said several people including security personnel were injured have been injured in the blast.
According to local media reports, there were at least six militants including four suicide bombers entered in the hotel and started indiscriminate firing.
Afghan Taliban has claimed the responsibility of the attack.
The militants stormed the hotel when people were having lunch in a lobby of the hotel. At the time of the attack a wedding ceremony was ongoing in the hotel.
