Wana: Chief of Army Staff Gen Asfhfaq Pervez Kayani has said that the military will be pulled out from the tribal areas after the responsibilities are handed over to local people and until the job is done.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony of Wana Cadet College in South Waziristan Agency the COA said that the tribal people were the strength of whole the nation and were fighting against the terrorists, joining hands with the army.
The military chief said that uplift projects of worth 20 billions were launched in the tribal areas.  He said army will continue playing its due role in efforts to purge the areas from terrorists.
He said that the military had played an important role for the uplift of the tribal area and will continue to do so in the future .
Kayani said that with the construction of the Wana-Angoor Adda road will help improve Pak-Afghan trade.
Later the army chief inaugurated the cadet college and visited different parts of the tribal area near Afghan border.
