Peshawar: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F (JUI-F) chief and Pakistan’s government former allies Fazl ur Rahman has said that Pakistan was passing through its history’s most crucial time and added that even the Religious persons were also facing insecurity.
Addressing Ulama Convention under the aegis of JUI-F here, Fazl ur Rahman said that the religious group was directly affected by the spate of recent insecurity, while the terror incidents were being linked with the religious schools.
He said that JUI-F was being pushed to the defensive position. He further said that the US wanted to occupy the resources of the nations and usurp their freedom.
Fazl ur Rahman said that terrorism in Afghanistan escalated instead of being controlled after the US invasion.
Considered a supporter of Taliban, Maulana Fazlur Rehman has been cautioned 2days ago by the Interior Ministry against holding public meetings or rallies due to threats from hard core militants believed to have recently turned against him.
