Peshawar: At least three people were killed in a fresh US drone strike in Mir Ali area of northwest tribal region, sources said on Tuesday
The sources said that the unmanned aircraft targeted a vehicle in North Waziristan tribal region near Afghan border.
The drone attack came a day after a massive protest sit-in was staged near Karachi port, bringing Nato supplies to a halt.
The protesters demanded of the government to take immediate steps to stop the drone attacks otherwise long march would be taken out in protest against the US aggression that claimed lives of several innocent Pakistanis in tribal areas.
The drone program is run by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) that led to killing of thousands of Pakistanis, fanning anti-American sentiments amongst the nuclear-armed nation.
