Islamabad: Pakistani Interior Ministry has informed security agencies that Fazlur Rehman, the chief of his own faction of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, could be targeted by militants.
The Interior Ministry issued letter number 223 and informed security agencies that terrorist organisations could target government agencies, secret agencies, police including security forces and important buildings.
The letter further stated that terrorists are planning to target Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
