Islamabad: Pakistan’s former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Wednesday called on Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) Leader Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif, sources said.
Sources said that it was a secret meeting between the two leaders that continued for an hour.
“They discussed the unilateral action by the United States forces in Abbottabad and the situation that surfaced after the incident. They also discussed overall situation in the country,” the sources added.
Neither Sharif nor Qureshi is confirming the issue, nevertheless, sources inside PML-N told that certain issues besides cooperation in the coming election in Southern Punjab were discussed in the meeting and it was agreed that such consultation to be continued in future.
