Islamabad: Opposition leader in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has termed the US operation that led to killing of al-Qaeda Chief Osama bin Laden in Abbotabad, worse than fall of Dhaka and urged the government to step down as what he said on their failure to run the country.
Talking to media here on Friday Nisar said that the rulers should break their silence over the US operation in Pakistan and take the nation into confidence.
“The people are in shock while the rulers are busy in trying to protect their government” he said, adding that when the government fails to respond on an issue then the institutions have to release policy statement.
Nisar said that US President Obama was monitoring the Abbottabad operation while Zardari was sleeping, “president should clarify either he is with America or Pakistan” he added.
Responding a query the opposition leader said meeting of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Sunday, the night when the US troops took Osama aaway, was scheduled.
He said all the decisions were being taken by the GHQ, adding the government should prove that the country was a democratic state.
