Islamabad: United States has assured Pakistan that the US would provide assistance worth US$ 811 million to Pakistan by June 30 under Kerry Loger Bill, sources said.
Sources from Pakistan Foreign office said that the decision was taken in the meeting of Pakistan Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir with American officials.
The sources said that US$310 million would be given to Pakistan under Kerry Logar bill while US$ 500 million would be granted in term of coalition support fund in war on terror.
Strategic dialogue between Pakistan and the US also discussed in the meeting, the sources said. It was also discussed in the meeting that how to reduce tension between both the countries, the sources added.
