Islamabad: US Embassy Press Attaché in Islamabad Alberto Rodriguez has said that drone attacks in the northwest tribal areas of Pakistan and reduce in the number of CIA officials could not be informed.
In a statement on Thursday, Rodriguez confirmed the presence of American force in Pakistan, and said the purpose of the US army in Pakistan is to train its security forces. Activities of American spy agencies could not informed, he added.
Rodriguez said it is not necessary to inform the locations of the spy workers. He said procedure and technology used by the US Army could not be leaked. He said US army in Pakistan is with the permission of Pakistan government and army.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan Army Chief Ashfaq Pervez Kiyani has already demanded the US officials that stop drone attacks in Pakistan territory and cut in the numbers of CIA employees in Pakistan.
