Islamabad: Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani said on Tuesday that Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was sincere to restore bilateral relation between the two countries.
Gilani said that the Indian prime minister was serious in resolving disputed issues between the two countries including Kashmir, Siachen, and Sir Creek.
He said that he held four meetings with his Indian counterpart during his visit to India that had been very positive.
Gilani said that two neighbour countries could not afford another war, adding that the both the countries should spend their resources improving conditions of the common man.
Talking about the terrorists’ activities in the country the prime minister said that terrorists were getting their instructions from a foreign source.
Gilani had visited India as Manmohan Singh invited him to witness Pak-India cricket world cup semi-final match on on March 31 just two day after home secretaries of two countries met in New Delhi.
Composite dialogue between the two countries was halted by the Mumbai terror attacks.
