Lahore: A local court on Monday extended physical remand of Moonis Elahi for four days and handed him over to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in the National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) corruption case.
Moonis was brought to the court in a Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) and strict security arrangement were made. A large number of Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) workers were present out side the court, chanting slogans in support of Moonis and showered rose petals when he got off the APC.
Moonis after the hearing said that the FIA could not prove single charge against him.
