Lahore: The Lahore High Court on Tuesday heard a petition regarding alleged disappearance of families of Faizan and Faheem, who were killed by a CIA contractor Raymond Davis on Jan 27.
Capitial City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore Aslam Tarin appeared before the court and submitted a report. He stated that the families were not present in their houses while their houses were found locked.
On this, the petitioner said that the CCPO has fulfilled his duty by sending only one policeman to confirm whether the families were present or not, adding that the nation wanted to know the whereabouts of the heirs of the slain men.
The Assistant Advocate General Punjab argued that no one should be concerned now that the families had received blood money and pardoned Davis.
The CJ summoned Home Secretary on the next hearing.
Sources said that the victim families have flown to Saudi Arabia after getting blood money.
