Quetta: At least four people were killed and 15 injured when a passenger van struck an explosive mine near Dera Bugti area of Pakistan’s south western Balochistan province on Wednesday.
Source said that the dead and injured were shifted to a nearby hospital.
Thinly-populated Baluchistan is home to Pakistan’s largest gas supplies as well as one of the largest copper deposits in the world , with estimated reserves of 412 million tonnes.
Baloch militants have been waging low level insurgency in the province for more provincial autonomy.
