Bangalore: Indian External Affairs Minister S M Krishna has said that saner voices were being silenced in Pakistan.
Indian minister while replying a question regarding assassination of Pakistan’s Minorities Affairs Minister Shahbaz Bhatti he said that India wanted moderate and political forces to reassert themselves in that country so that it became easier for both the courtiers to move closer.
The UPA government is “very particular” about India’s relationship with Pakistan, Krishna said.
“We would like to have friendly relations with them (Pakistan), cordial relationship with them and I think a firm foundation is being set for that”.
