Tripoli: Libyan embattled leader Colonel Muammar Gaddafi appeared in a public ceremony among those loyal to his government, as rebels fought back his forces to the east of the capital,on Wednesday, repeating once again that he holds no real powers in his country.
Gaddafi who have been facing mounting pressure from popular uprising in the country and from the international community said that Libyan people were not against him instead foreign powers were opposing him.

“The foreigners want Gaddafi to step down. to step down from what? Gaddafi is just a symbol for the libyan people… This is how the Libyan people understood it.
