Lahore: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday directed that news reports of international media, regarding US national Raymond Davis, be made part of the court record.
LHC Chief Justice Ejaz Chaudhry while hearing a petition of Advocate Azhar Sddiqui, who prayed that the United States should be made party in Davis case, observed that the US has nothing to do with Davis immunity as it would be decided by the government of Pakistan.
The chief justice ruled that the US would itself approach the court.
Later the hearing was adjourned till March 14.
The LHC had directed the federal government to submit its reply to the court regarding Davis status whether he was a diplomat or not, till March 14.
