Islamabad: The Investigators probing Benazir Bhutto assassination case have sought mobile phone data of former CPO Rawalpindi Saud Aziz which was used by him in 2007, sources said on Sunday.
The sources said Saud Aziz has handed over his mobile phone to the investigation team last week while the team has acquired his mobile phone data of 2009 from the mobile phone service provider companies.
Saud Aziz and is facing charges of showing negligence in providing fool proof security to the former prime minister Benazir Bhutto in a public meeting on December 27, 2007, subsequently, she was killed after delivering speech in liaquat Bagh Rawalpindi.
The accused is also facing charges of issuing orders for washing out crime scene and wiping crucial evidence shortly after the incident tool place.
