Islamabad: Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry on Thursday observed that 75 people have been killed in Karachi during January alone, asking was the IGP Sindh givenĀ contract of killing .
The CJ while hearing the Haj scandal case asked the Attorney General of Pakistan whether he has seen law and order situation in Karachi, where the Inspector General of Police has been hired on a contract basis.
He observed that lack of command is the root cause of Karachi situation.
