Lahore: JUI-F Senator Prof Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri called on PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat Husain on Monday in the wake of political scenario emerged after MQM’s withdrawal from the coalition government.
Haideri while talking to journalists outside the Zahoor Elahi Palace urged the prime minister to tender resignation, adding that the JUI-F have set on fire its boats so there is no chance to rejoin the government. He also criticised the PMl-N for its political stance in the current situation.
On the occasion, Shujaat said that Maulana Fazl is in Saudia Arabia to perform ‘Umrah’ and the changing political situation in the country might be the result of his prayers.
Earlier, PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif said that his party would take all decisions in the larger national interest and would not allow anyone to plunder the national wealth in the name of democracy.
