Karachi: A Pakistan Navy’s senior officer was shot and injured when unidentified men opened fire on his car at Gate 15 of Karachi port, police said.
The police said that Lieutenant Commander Azeem Haider, the officer, had been shifted to Pakistan Navy’s PNS Shifa hospital. They added that he received four bullets.
A television report quoting sources in Pakistan Navy said that Azeem was out of danger.
Sources told The News Tribe that Haider was an investigation officer in Mehran Base attack case.
