Lahore: Dozens of students on Wednesday staged a protest against killing of their colleague in the premises of the University of Punjab in Lahore city of Pakistan.
The protestors attacked at the vice chancellor’s office and tried to enter the office and threw stones at the office.
The protestors while talking to The News Tribe correspondent said that two days had been passed after the killing of their colleague but the university had not taken action against the culprits.
On Sunday, Awais Aqeel, an activisit and senior office bearer of a student organisation, Islami Jamiat Talba, was gunned down while two other persons were critically injured by three armed assailants at hostel No. 16 in Muslim town Police area of Lahore.
