Islamabad: Pakistan’s top military brass attended a ceremony at President’s House here Friday, indicating improvement in relations with the civilian leadership. Recently, the relations between the country’s military establishment and the civilian had dipped to its lowest ebb and about to blow, over the memogate controversy.
President Asif Ali Zardari decorated Naval Chief Admiral Asif Sandila with Nishan-e-Pakistan in the ceremony . The event was attended by three services chiefs, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Gen Khalid Shamim Wynnee, federal ministers and high officials.
