Kabul: At least eight Nato soldiers have been killed in separate attacks in the troubled southern Afghanistan.
A brief statement released by the alliance on Friday said three soldiers had been killed in a roadside bomb blast in southern Afghanistan on Thursday.
A fourth soldier lost his life in a militant attack also in the south on Friday, the statement added.
The statement said that another four troopers of the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) died in a homemade bomb attack in southern Afghanistan.
The alliance withheld the names or the nationalities of those killed.
According to official figures released by the website icasualties.org, a total of 566 foreign troops lost their lives in war-battered Afghanistan last year.
