Karachi: Pakistan’s permanent representative to the United Nations Abdullah Hussain Haroon has said that becoming a non-permanent member of UN Security Council was a great achievement for the country.
Talking to media persons at Karachi Airport in the wee hours of Saturday, he said world has entirely changed. We would have to play our role for the betterment of Pakistan.
We have made new friends, he added that those whom we considered our friends are no more our friends now.
Answering a question, he said India played crucial role for Pakistan to become the US Security Council member.
He went on to say that people of the country should not scare of drone attacks. He also said that the issue of drone strikes could rise in the United Nation if got permission.
