Kaloi/Thar Parkar: Pakistan’s Army Chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani visited flood affected areas Kaloi and Thar Parker of Sindh on Thursday and was briefed on flood situation.
During the visit, the army chief appreciated relief efforts of troops in flood affected areas of Sindh province of Pakistan.
He said that soldiers were performing their duty by helping flood victims. The army chief said that forces are always ready to help and protect the nation from internal and external threats.
More than eight million people were affected in Sindh in the recent monsoon season.
