Peshawar: Unofficial moon sighting committee of Masjid Qaim Ali Khan will sit for sighting Eid-ul-Fitr crescent in Peshawar on Monday, sources said on Friday.
According to the sources, Mufti Shahbuddin Popalzai, head of the committee has urged Ulema to convince the nation to sight the moon themselves.
The official Moon Sighting Committee headed by Mufti Muneebur Rehman will sit on Tuesday. It is expected that the Eid-ul-Fitr will be observed on two different days across the country.
