Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has summoned former captain Shoaib Malik and leg spinner Danish Kaneria on August 15.
Malik and Kaneria will appear before integrity committee of PCB on August 15 to know whether their international career is over or will be revived.
According to sources, there has been widespread speculation that Malik has been cleared by the integrity committee after he submitted details of his assets and bank statements to the committee sometime back.
The former captain is facing unannounced ban since the tour of England. The sources said that Shoaib’s name was added in reserves for the Zimbabwe tour due to political influence and the board will clear him soon.
