NOTTINGHAM: India have won the toss and decided to field first in the second test at Trent Bridge.
India are playing their second test match with two changes. Their most influential bowler Zaheer Khan is unfit and is being replaced by Shanthakumaran Sreesanth. This change is likely to hit India very hard. The second change occurred as India’s opening batsmen Guatam Gambhir due to an elbow injury during the fielding in the second test was declared unfit.
England on the other hand made one change by replacing Chris Tremlett , who was injured due to a hamstring injury with Tim Bresnan.
England currently lead the series 1-0 and are considered favorite in the current match. They will also be at the top of the ICC’s World Test Championship if they defeat India in this series.
