KARACHI: A three-member judicial commission, headed by Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali, will continue the proceedings on Hamid Mir’s attack today (Tuesday) at the Karachi Registry of Supreme Court, media reported.
In last hearing, the commission heard reports from police, rangers and other government officials.
The home secretary, IG Sindh, Additional IG Karachi, DG Rangers Sindh, Joint Director Intelligence Bureau, DIG East, DIG Special Branch, SSP Traffic and other police officers presented their reports and other relevant material to the commission.
Today, the commission’s agenda is to start recording statements from concerned parties.
This special judicial commission, comprising of Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali, Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan and Justice Iqbal Hameedur Rehman, has been formed by Supreme Court on request of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
