ISLAMABAD: Leader of the opposition in National Assembly and senior leader of Pakistan People Party (PPP) Khursheed shah has said that the National Secuiryt Policy (NSP) confused the nation because it was unclear.
Shah was responding over National Security Policy (NSP) presented by Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar in the National Assembly.
He criticized the government and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for not taking opposition parties into confidence over dialogue process with Taliban.
He said that the way used by government and Chaudhry Nisar to talks with Taliban created ambiguity in the minds of opposition and people of Pakistan.
He demanded that the detail briefing should be given to the opposition regarding the dialogue process with the Taliban in-camera session of parliament.
He showed his grieveness that government was not taking opposition into confidence which showed that opposition was not trustworthy.
He affirmed that opposition was not irresponsible and ready to fight against terrorism with shoulder to shoulder with government.
He said democracy was not responsible for terrorism in the country but failed decision of dictators.
