Islamabad: Pakistan on Thursday has categorically demanded the United States that Islamabad wanted complete halt of drone attacks instead of curtail the attacks.
In a weekly briefing in foreign office, spokesperson Tasneem Aslam said that Pakistan’s stance over drone strikes was very clear and will never be changed.
She said that Pakistan has the view that these attacks were violation of its sovereignty and this position has also been endorsed by the international community.
This statement came after the report by Washington Post in which it said that US agreed to curtail drone attacks in Pakistan during the dialogue process between the government and the Taliban.
