ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday has claimed that half of the Taliban are ready for talks but the federal government’s inaction is taking country on the brink of a war.
PTI chief Imran Khan accused the government of showing negligence for holding talks with Taliban despite making promises in last All Parties Conference (APC).
While talking to journalists in the Pakistan’s federal capital, Khan expressed his deep grief over the killings of Pakistani soldiers and civilian during the ongoing military operation in North Waziristan Agency (NWA).
The PTI chief warned the federal government; said that the war against could not be won without support of tribal people.
He reiterated his party’s stance by demanding that the Pakistani government should attain national consensus before making decision to start a military operation.
However, civilians should be evacuated from the areas before initiated of military operation; if the armed action is inevitable.
