LAHORE: Inspector, General (IG) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ehsan Ghani has been replaced by Nasir Durrani. He has been replaced after horrific incident of Peshawar blast near church that killed more or less 80 people whereas 126 people were injured. Nasir Durrani has immediately taken charge as new I.G KPK.
Ehasan Ghani, IG KPK has been sacked over the debacle of Peshawar Church blast which killed 80 people while they were returning from their prayers. He has been replaced by Nasir Durrani who has immediately taken charge as new Inspector General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
On the other hand protests recorded on the second day of Peshawar church blast in various parts of the country. In Lahore protests were recorded by Christian Community in Bhatta Chowk, Wazirabad and Multan Road.
Protests have been recorded in Iqbal Town Islamabad, Latifabad 7 Hyderabad, Steel town and National Highway Karachi and Rawalpindi.
The investigation team for the blast has reached Peshawar Church and has started to search for clues to the incident.
