Beijing: Chinese technological giant Lenovo plans to bring its mini tablet S5000 to go against Apple iPad Mini 2 and Google’s Nexus 7.
According to reports the device will be lighter then the iPad Mini and Nexus 7.
The tablet will feature a 7 inch IPS screen and a resolution of 1,280×800-pixel. The 7 inch tablet consist of a  1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek 8389 CPU for the 3G model, and a MediaTek 8125 processor runs the Wi-Fi-only version.

A Other components include 1GB of RAM, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB, an accelerometer, GPS, a 5-megapixel back camera, and a 1.6-megapixel front shooter. Lenovo claims up to 8 hours of life with the included 3,200MAh battery.
The device will be available with 16 GB storage capacity.
Lenovo S5000 will make its appearance in month of December this year.
