KARACHI: Injured by lifter mishap chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan’s sister, Aleema Khan has landed on Jinnah International Karachi Airport on Monday to participate in PTI’s sit in, organised in Karachi.
While talking to media on airport, Aleema Khan said that Karachiites could not be controlled further more by creating panic in the city.
The reason for being here is to express solidarity with the people of Karachi so they do not feel alone without Imran Khan.
Answering on the question raised by media on PTI leader Zehra Shahid’s murder in Karachi, Aleema said that party leadership would decide to file FIR against whom.
Moreover, Aleema Khan is sent to Karachi by Imran Khan where PTI officials are organising protests on Mazar-e-Quaid for demanding to arrest the assassins of PTI’s founding member Zehra Shahid Hussai, who was killed on political basis as well as to raise the voice against vote rigging activities in Karachi happened during election 2013.
She added that people are bored from politics of terror and seeking for peaceful environment throughout the country while unreasoning strikes are increasing unemployment as well as disturbing the business class.
Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) founding member Zehra Shahid Hussain was murdered on last Saturday in Karachi outside her home while initial investigations reveal that killing of Zehra could be a result either of attempted robbery or assassination.
“The evidences collected show that incident could be an aftermath of robbery attempt,” police officials said and added that further inquiry was being made to ascertain the reason.
Aleema Khan confirmed, several people are conveying messages to Khan for the threats received by miscreants in Karachi, so Imran Khan has raised the matter before British High Commissioner Adam Thompson to alert him that British government will also be responsible for any loss received by PTI workers in Karachi.
She added that Imran Khan is recovering fast, he will be discharged from the hospital after 4 to 5 days and will re-join his political activities again.
