Pakistan took an early lead in the match, but their hopes quickly faded away after India scored two back-to-back goals in the first half, taking a 2-0 lead.
India’s Mandeep scored third goal for the side in 56th minute, confirming the win against Pakistan.
Pakistan beat New Zealand in their first match, but Australia shattered their confidence, trouncing the green shirts 6-0.
Pakistan next play with Malaysia on Thursday.
