Cuttack: Pakistan lost to traditional India by six wickets in a seventh place play-off game in ICC Women’s World Cup.
Pakistan women lost all the four games in the world cup.
Earlier, Pakistan skipper Sana Mir won the toss and elected to bat first. Though Pakistan lost its top order quickly but Nain Abidi and Nida Dar’s half-centuries help the green shirts set 192 runs for the loss of seven wickets on scoreboard.
Nida Dar made 68 runs not out inning while Nain Abidi hit 58 runs.
India’s Nagarajan Niranjana grabbed three wickets for 35 runs.
Replying to Pakistan’s 192 runs, India achieved the target in 46 overs with a great knock by Mithali Raj who scored 103 runs not out inning.
