Washington: The United Stated President Barack Obama has said that more sanctions would be imposed on Libyan President Muammar Gaddafi.
Obama in a statement issued on Friday said that Gaddafi and his loyal friends are being besieged. He said Gaddafi government has lost international support.
He said the US is assessing international support to make Libya a no-fly zone.
Obama said that the US has grave concern over Gaddafi rule. He said Libyan people want independence from Gaddafi.
He said that international community would have to stop human rights violation in Libya and Gaddafi would have to stop killing protesters.
