Charsada: Awami National Party (ANP) Chief Asfanyar Wali Thursday said supported war against terror and said that the war against terrorism is Pakistan’s battle and ‘we are determined to stand firm on our ground’.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the Bacha Khan University, the ANP leader said, “we will not shy away from the war against terrorism.”
The ANP chief said that progress of the Pakhtuns was dependant on education and trade.
“ANP will participate in the upcoming election and win with a heavy mandate.”
On the occasion, Chief Minister Kyber Pakhtunkhuan Amir Haider Hoti announced that laptops worth Rs1 billion will be distributed among 25000 deserving students of the province.
He also announced a stipend of Rs 1500 for female students of middle school and Rs 2000 for high school students of Torkhar and Kohistan.
