Islamabad: Pakistan’s Foreign Office on Friday has rejected rumors about the resignation of Pakistan’s ambassador to United Nations (UN) Abdullah Hussain Haroon and said that the ambassador is still working for Pakistan in UN.
Earlier, the reports said that Pakistan’s envoy to United Nations (UN) Abdullah Hussain Haroon has once again resigned from his post on Friday due to his difference with the the current government of Pakistan.
In a statement issued on Friday, the foreign office said that the reports regarding the resignation of Pakistan envoy to UN are false.
“Abdullah Hussain Haroon is still Pakistan’s ambassador and he is performing his duties in United Nations,” it added.
