Karachi: The only aircraft of Bhoja air has been sold to Shaheen Airline while lower staff of the airline has been sent on forced leave’ for two months.
“The only aircraft of the Bhoja air (APBKG)737-400, which was grounded after suspension of operation, has been sale out to Shaheen Airline, a private company. The lower staff of the airline has been sent on forced leave while station managers, district managers, cockpit and cabin crew are asked to stay for 15 days,” local Urdu daily Ummat reports.
“The airline has a plan to continue its operation through small aircraft 737-300, the report said.
“Bhoja Air is also facing difficulties to pay compensation money to the families of air crash victims. However, the plane was insured but the airline administration has to pay its own quota,” the daily quoted sources as saying.
“The administration also mulling to sale 55 percent shares of the airline.”
