KARACHI: Governor Punjab Sardar Latif Khosa will hold a meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari here on today (Monday) and discussed with him the prevailing political situation in Punjab.
Sources in PPP said that the Punjab Governor will discuss the summary moved by Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif for removal of seven PPP ministers from his cabinet.
They said that Khosa will apprise the President about the legal and constitutional aspect of the summary and take him into confidence as to how to respond the summary.
It is to be mentioned here that the PML-N had announced to oust the PPP minister after its deadline for implementation of its reforms agenda expired on February 25, as it said the government did not impalement the agenda nor it seems serious in its implementation.
Following the announcement, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif had moved a summary to Governor Latif Khosa for removal of seven PPP ministers in his cabinet and the governor is yet to take any decision on the summary.
