Amir and Imad Named Among 29 Players in PCB’s T20 Physical Fitness Camp

Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the names of 29 players for the T20 physical fitness camp. The fitness camp will commence on Tuesday in Kakul Abbottabad.

According to the PCB, the 29 players will report today for participation in the fitness camp scheduled in Kakul Abbottabad from Tuesday. The camp, starting from March 26, will conclude on April 8.

The camp includes players such as Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Mohammad Rizwan, Sahibzada Farhan, Fakhar Zaman, Haseebullah, Usman Khan, Saim Ayub, Muhammad Haris, Saud Shakeel, Salman Ali Agha, Iftikhar Ahmed, Irfan Khan Niazi, Shadab Khan, Azam Khan, Imad Wasim, Mohammad Nawaz, Usama Mir, Mohammad Amir, Mehran Mumtaz, Hasan Ali, Abrar Ahmed, Naseem Shah, Muhammad Abbas Afridi, Wasim Jr., Muhammad Ali, Zaman Khan, Haris Rauf and Amir Jamal are included.

The Pakistan Cricket Board is conducting this camp in collaboration with the Pakistan Army, aimed at preparing players for upcoming series and tournaments, including the home T20 series against New Zealand, the T20 series against Ireland and England, and the ICC T20 World Cup in the USA and West Indies.

Experienced trainers and coaches will guide the players in a comprehensive program during the camp, focusing on improving their fitness levels, agility, leadership, strategic thinking, and overall performance on the field. The primary focus of the camp will be on the preparation of the team and ensuring that the players are in the best possible condition to face upcoming challenges.
